 Who We’re Looking For

 

A successful Clinical Internship Program Manager is responsible for managing all partnerships and initiatives related to our relationships with local Universities.  This individual oversees the internship program which includes planning, developing, implementing and evaluating our field placement of student interns.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities in this role may include:

  • Conduct research on best practices to aid in the design, planning and development of a multi-functional, multi-track undergraduate, graduate, and early career rotational development program as well as alumni engagement strategy
  • Support efforts within the Human Resources function to convert talents of intern to full time employees
  • Partner closely with Regional leadership to define best-in-class rotational development program and curriculum to ensure robust development of capabilities
  • Facilitate strategic discussions with leaders to identify needs, align on goals and objectives, scope requests, and plan strategy for launch, delivery, and scaling the intern program
  • Define metrics to ensure success as it relates to candidate experience, program participant satisfaction, retention, post-program employee performance, consistent experience, and performance across different business "tracks" (marketing, HR, etc.)
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to candidates, hiring managers, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Create and manage an annual calendar of campus recruitment events and oversee all logistical coordination and implementation
  • Order, maintain and regularly audit booth/university related materials and collateral processes to ensure best in class representation against benchmarks and competitors
  • Manage interview logistics between candidates and hiring teams across the agency for phone screens, video conferences, and on-site meetings
  • Coordinate as single point of contact speaking and presentation engagements at the University that drive pipeline building opportunities for the recruiting department
  • Serve as a mentor and support to students by providing mentoring and training throughout the internship period and work with the hiring managers to ensure each student intern placement, receives thorough individualized mentoring and job coaching throughout the internship designed to foster success in the internship and long-term career planning
  • Develop a handbook for student interns that clearly outline the objectives of the internship, expectations and policies
  • Provide orientation to all intern student placements prior to the internship placement
  • Manage the application process for all intern applicant submissions from Gaudenzia’s website by engaging and communicating with all applicant submissions in a timely manner
  • Evaluate and report on intern-to-hire conversion rates ensuring the conversion rate is continuously meeting Gaudenzia’s conversion rate goal of at least 50 percent of our eligible interns to full-time hires
  • Conduct exit interviews with interns who resign from their placements and/or those who are not converted to full-time hires in an effort to combat early attrition
  • Work in collaboration with the University Relations Team to develop and implement a robust training program geared towards eligible clinical employees to aid in test preparedness and readiness for their state specific certification/licensure requirements (i.e., partnering existing and eligible staff with licensed staff to ensure training hours are provided and documented accordingly, identifying sources or in-house talent to support staff prepare for the licensure/certification examinations, etc.)
  • Travel 40-50% of the time

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Masters Degree in Social Work (Required)

 

Experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Drive for continuous learning and process improvement
  • Good interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work successfully with people at all levels
