These services and resources may include medical care, benefits, education and employment, housing, recovery and prevention services, and aftercare supports.   Duties may include, but not be limited to providing intake services to clients; preparing reports, treatment plans, discharge/ continuing care plans, and keeping necessary records within client database and electronic health record; coordinating the activities of one or more groups of clients; and generating referrals and aftercare plans. Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, and policies and procedures; however, this individual is expected to exercise considerable initiative and independent judgment in achieving objectives.

These needs will include emotional and physical, and the approach is to be geared specifically to the individual child. The Child Care Worker assists the mother in gaining a greater understanding of the child, of childcare and development, and the relationship of mother and child. Duties may include, but are not limited to: being responsible for developing and implementing activities for those children who are too young to attend public school. You  will be required to teach the child basic skills, how to care for him/herself, keep necessary records, participate in group counseling activities, work with community agencies and provide necessary support for mother and child in reference to parenting and education about child development. Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures, but the person is expected to exercise considerable initiative and independent judgment in achieving objectives. You will be required to pass all clearance checks as required by Act 33 of the Child Protection Services Law.

Pay Grades for this job varies between grades 9-10 (depending on years of experience)   We are offering a for this position!   This individual will be responsible for providing the initial nursing assessment on all new admissions, utilizing the required assessment forms within the electronic health record system, and following up on all clients during treatment.  This individual will also be responsible for arranging necessary visits with Health Care Providers to complete the initial physical exam and other health screenings as required by regulations for each level of care. With your help, we can turn the tide on substance use disorder.      Who we're looking for   This individual ensures the highest standards of medical care are upheld when delivering care to clients within Gaudenzia, Inc.’s treatment programs. To this end, the Director of nursing oversees the nursing staff and overall nursing operations and is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to nurses assigned to the region. This individual will evaluate and direct all nursing staff by establishing goals for the nursing department while collaborating with creating and enforcing compliance of healthcare policies. This individual oversees department budgets, reports to the Director of Health Services and ensures compliance with all regulations. This individual will recruit, train, and provide ongoing education while promoting retention of quality employees.   The Director of Nursing combines his/her clinical experience, education, and managerial skills to ensure smooth running of the nursing department in collaboration with the medical/health sector of the region. Work is performed with considerable independence in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures of the agency. Work is also performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and under the direct supervision of Director of Health Services.
